Fall is finally among us and I couldn’t be more excited. There’s something about the crisp magic of autumn, that makes me feel whole. I truly feel like a child wrapped in a cozy blanket drinking warm apple cider. But what do I love the most you may ask? Two words. Fall Fashion. And pumpkin pie of course but that’s beside the point.
Sweater dress and tall boots weather are what I’m talking about! The most iconic fashion trends hit the runways around this time of year. And I live for it. Although I love dressing for less, a true fashion lover can’t help but take a quick peek at the higher ends stores’ newest arrivals. However, nothing will ever top my passionate love affair with Zara, at least for now.
One place I had to go to during the month of October was a pumpkin patch! And obviously make time for a cute photo-op moment; however, that also meant I needed the perfect outfit that screamed Fall in California. My favorite thing about Zara is that you can always find a good staple piece. One that will serve its purpose for many years to come. And last year that item was this plaid overalls dress. It’s slimming, great quality, and it’s just perfect for all Fall activities. I’ve styled it in so many different ways, but for this occasion, I decided to keep it simple. So I paired it with my favorite black turtle neck from H&M.
Nothing Says Fall Like The Perfect Pair Of Boots
These shoes have been my latest obsession. Earlier this summer I was in the hunt for the perfect pair of leather boots. All I knew is that I wanted a pair that were tall and heeled. And so my quest began! I was having the worst luck until I walked into Nordstrom Rack and locked my eyes on these beauties. Call me dramatic, but it’s like the fashion Gods led me right to them.
I was shocked when I noticed they were Tory Burch, my size, and at an incredibly reasonable price… well compared to the original marking. So, If I can give you any advice it’s this: Always shop one season ahead. I recently went to Nordstrom Rack and there were no boots in sight! At least not any that were splurge-worthy. So If you want killer boots for the fall, start shopping in the Summer. You can thank me later! π
Time To Accessorize
For accessories, I decided to go with this leather & canvas vintage bag. One of my best friends actually thrifted it for me. I love the gold buckle detailing, which is perfect for the Fall. I’m definitely going to get a lot of use out of this gem! You can always find the cutest pieces in thrift stores or at swap meets. There’ s literally no need to break your wallet. My bracelet, on the other hand, is my most recent investment. For the longest time, I’ve been wanting the classic Tiffany & Co. Silver Ball Bracelet, but it’s pricey. However, I recently came across an even better option at my new favorite store UNO DE 50. I was sold. It’s so pretty, timeless and a lot cheaper. You can find it HERE!
Fall is my favorite color!
FASHION LESSON OF THE DAY:
- Shop for shoes a season prior (especially boots).
- Go to swapmeets for cute vintage bags.
- Always do your research before making a big purchase. You can always find a similar option for half the price!
I hope you guys found this Fall Fashion post helpful or inspirational in any way. I’ll be back with another post very soon! But until then, comment below your favorite Fall Fashion trend of 2019. I’m curious to read what you’ve been loving this season! π
